Yesterday I tried my hand at Carrot Cake and it was quite the treat (and feat)! The cake was beyond my wildest dreams-beautiful on the outside and heavenly within...it's moist and chewy and the nuts finish it off by adding the most perfect crunch. It's probably the best dessert I've ever had in my life. 

I purchased the carrot confections at the New York Cake and Baking Distributors in my neighborhood. Their sugary creations are worth the trip.
